Mary Maxine (Young) Clarke, 93, of Moundsville, WV passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Moundview Health Care, Moundsville.

She was born October 4, 1925 in Moundsville, daughter of the late Clem & Grayce P. (Rine) Young.

Mary was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, Moundsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard W. Clarke; son, David Clarke and sister Imogene Frye Young.

Surviving are her daughter, Carol Sue (Terry) Blackwell of Simpsonville, SC; sister, Wilda Clark of Cameron, WV; granddaughter, Robin Briggs of Moundsville and two great-grandchildren, Nicky & Seth Briggs.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11am with John Miller officiating.

Interment to follow at Salem Cemetery.
