Stanley, Matthew Allen, 17, of Proctor, WV., died Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

Matthew was born July 24, 2001, in Glen Dale, WV., the son of Jason Allen Stanley of Proctor and Kimberly Ann Stanley of  Moundsville.

Matthew was a Junior at John Marshall High School where he was a member of the FFA.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Sierra Stanley of Proctor; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Patricia Stanley of Proctor; maternal grandparents Donald Beyser of Moundsville and Hazel Beyser of McMechen; an uncle William Stanley of Proctor; an aunt Shelly Beyser of McMechen; two cousins Jeb Berisford of McMechen and Tanner Stanley of Proctor.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, from 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home  Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels 118 Grant Street, Moundsville where services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at 11 am. with Pastors Fred Goddard and Donnie Harris officiating. Interment to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery,
