Michael Sarcopski

August 18, 1951 - November 29, 2019

Michael Sarcopski, 68, of Benwood, WV, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019, in Liza’s Place, Wheeling.

Michael was born August 18, 1951, in Wheeling, a son of the late John and Julia (Poludniak) Sarcopski. He was a retired electrician; a member of the CAVE Club, Wheeling; and enjoyed golfing.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Rose (Loos) Sarcopski. He is survived by his three sons, John-Carl (Kayla) Sarcopski, Dave Sarcopski and Doug (Danielle) Sarcopski; two brothers, John (Sandy) Sarcopski and Joseph (Judy) Sarcopski; and five grandchildren, Kal-El, Brandon, Andrew, Gabby and Lincoln Sarcopski.

Michael Sarcopski was a man of many talents, most known him as an athlete, but for his family, he was a great father. Always reliable and dependable, family or friends could always count on Mike for anything. If he couldn’t fix it, he would at least make you laugh with his colorful use of words why he couldn’t fix it. He was many things to many people, but I know all his sons will remember him as Dad. Always in our hearts and minds.

In accordance with Michael’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, or online at www.TMCfunding.com.

Arrangements by Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.altmeyerfuneralhomes.com.
