Michael Wesley Turner, 71 of Wheeling, WV, died January 4, 2021 at his home at Booker T.
He was born January 2, 1950 at Wheeling Hospital, son of the late Beatrice O. Turner Parks. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Nathaniel “Lee” Parks.
Michael is survived by his son and daughter, Mike and Telicia Weaver of VA; his special friend Willa of VA; grandson Ali Treadway of VA; 2 great-grandsons, Hassan Treadway and Melo Cole; twin brother Patrick of Wheeling, WV; brothers Greg (Sara) Turner of Weirton, WV, Gary “Tut” (Debbie) Turner of Cambridge, OH, Van (Tammy) Parks of Wheeling, WV, Otto Turner; sister Sharon Mayfield of Wheeling, WV; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, WV. from 12:00-2:00pm and Funeral Service to begin at 2:00pm.

I heard about Dyke’s passing yesterday and wanted to express my condolences to the Turner family. I have great memories of growing up on the “Hill” as we used to say and the Turner family was a huge part of those great memories! I remember Dyke as a kind and quiet man and he will truly be missed.
