Carl, Nancy Lee Nau, 90, of Wheeling, died Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Mapleshire Nursing Home, Morgantown, WV.

Nancy was born May 17, 1928 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late John and Mary Mihalek Nau.

She was  retired  from the former Mail Pouch and Bloch Brothers Tobacco Company where she worked in the Laboratory and was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Wheeling.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert E. Carl ; a brother Jack Nau and a sister Mary Ellen Groux.

Surviving are her son, Scott Carl (Heather) of Mt. Morris, PA., a brother, Jim Nau (Mary Ann) of Florida; two sisters, Barbara Leonard (Tom) of Wheeling and Carolyn Weithe (David) of Wheeling; a granddaughter, Autumn Carl of Mt. Morris, PA.,; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday February 1, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:30 am at Cathedral of St. Joseph with Msgr Rev Kevin M. Quirk as celebrant. Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard, WV.
