Norma Jean (Duffy) Bokanovich, 84, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021, in Liza’s Place, Valley Hospice Care Center South, Wheeling, WV.

Norma Jean was born March 2, 1936 in Glen Dale, WV, a daughter of the late Homer and Gertrude (Hepe) Duffy. She was retired from Bayer Chemical and was a lifelong member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Moundsville.

In addition to her parents, Norma Jean was preceded in death by a son, Michael Bokanovich; a sister, Roberta Dankmer; and a niece, Vickie Moffitt. She is survived by a son, Robert “Bo” (Elaine) Bokanovich, and their children, Aidan, Orrin, Liam and Teagan Bokanovich, all of Sandwich, MA; a brother, John (Peggy) Duffy of Longs, SC; a sister, Marsha (Gary) Owens of Moundsville; and several treasured nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, Sunday, February 14, 202, at 2 pm, with Rev. Annette Carper officiating. Private interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Moundsville.
