Norma June Garvonic, 81, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at home.

She was born September 8, 1938, a daughter of the late Oakley and Adda “Bill” (Hall) LeMasters. Norma was a Moundsville High School Graduate Class of 1955 and worked at Marx Toy Factory as a secretary for numerous years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew Garvonic (2003).

Norma is survived by her three daughters, Mary Smith of FL, Patty (Ira) Cheifetz of NC and Christy Carr of Huntington, WV; one sister, Doris (Jack) Yoho of Moundsville; two brothers, Dean (Minnie) LeMasters and Harry (Debbie) LeMasters both of Moundsville; one aunt, Mary “Bunny” LeMasters of Moundsville; six grandchildren, Matthew J. Smith, Adam C. Cheifetz, Sara Cheifetz, Nicholas A. Carr, Alexander J. Carr and Anastasia Carr and several other family members, including cousins, nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend, Donna Logsdon.

Family and friends will be received Friday, November 29, 2019, from 5-8 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., where funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 30 at 11 am, with Dave Wright as Life Celebrant.
