Megna, Paul Joseph, 56, of Wheeling, died Friday, June 19, 2020 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling.

He was born May 10, 1964 in Pittsburgh, PA., the son of the late Emmanuel and Patricia Foster Megna, owners of Megna Bros. Produce in Centre Wheeling. He was a graduate of Linsly and Bethany College where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.

Paul worked for the AT&T call center as a technical support specialist, and was former owner of Megna’s Restaurant in Bridgeport, Ohio; a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mt. Olivet; member of the Our Lady of Peace Knights of Columbus, and Cave Club.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Colleen Casey Megna; two daughters Hannah Megna of Wheeling and Emily Myers (Caden) of Wheeling; a sister Maryellen Brogan (Shawn) of Perryville, MD; several brothers-in law and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 4-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at 11 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mt. Olivet with Rev Dennis Schuelkens as celebrant. Interment to be held at the convenience of the family.

Vigil service will be Monday June 22, 2020 at 7:30 pm.

The family requests that anyone coming to the funeral home please wear a mask.
