Pauline C. Svrcek, 85, of McMechen, WV, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, in Liza’s Place, Valley Hospice Care Center South, Wheeling, WV.

Pauline was born November 22, 1932, in McMechen, a daughter of the late Adam and Helen (Kupco) Svrcek. She was a graduate of Union High School; retired personnel director for the former Tri-Angle PWC, Inc., Glen Dale; and a member of St. James Catholic Church, McMechen, where she once served on the parish council. She also was a former personnel manager for Louis Marx Toys; served on the McMechen City Council; and, in 1959 and 1963, was chosen for the All State Women’s Softball Team.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her three brothers, Thomas, Adam and Michael Svrcek; four sisters, Mary Andrews, Helen Lukich, Margaret Dabich and Agnes Pollak; and nephew, Mark Lukich. She is survived by her three nieces and four nephews.

In accordance with Pauline’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Private interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
