YOU WERE THE BEST CHEMICAL OPERATOR IN ALL OF ALLIED / OLIN CHEMICAL’S HISTORY. EXTREMELY RESPECTED AND SOMETIMES RESENTED BY OTHERS. I CAME TO BUILDING 53 AS A YOUNG, UNTRAINED OPERATOR AT A TIME WHEN WOMEN WERE NOT EXPECTED TO BE IN THESE POSITIONS (AND I WAS THE FIRST). HOW YOU RECEIVED ME WAS HOW MY FELLOW CHEMICAL WORKERS WOULD TAKE THEIR CUES. I HAVE BEEN GRATEFUL FOR THE TRAINING AND ACCEPTANCE YOU GAVE ME EVER SINCE. THERE ARE SO MANY THOUGHTS OF YOU SO VERY OFTEN AS I HAVE BEEN BEGINNING A NEW PHASE OF MY LIFE- . SO SORRY TO SEE YOU LEAVE THIS EARTH, BUT YOU MADE YOUR UNFORGETTABLE MARK ON SO MANY OF US THANK YOU FOR THE LIFE LESONS. RIDING THAT JET STREAM.

Jackie,
I was so sad to hear about my buddy, Ralphie. He was my dear golfing friend and I will miss him so much. Ralph took me under his wing at MCC. He wasn’t the best golfer but he was the person I most admired. I was with him this year when he got his first hole-in-one. We jumped up and hugged each other! He was the one that called me three times from Florida last year when I broke my hip. He called me January when he got the covid. He was a fighter and I knew he would get through it. I called his two weeks ago and we talked about golfing this year. He sounded so positive and well. He was like my father to me and I will never forget his kindness. Heaven is better place now that he is there.
All of my love,
Gary
