YOU WERE THE BEST CHEMICAL OPERATOR IN ALL OF ALLIED / OLIN CHEMICAL'S HISTORY. EXTREMELY RESPECTED AND SOMETIMES RESENTED BY OTHERS. I CAME TO BUILDING 53 AS A YOUNG, UNTRAINED OPERATOR AT A TIME WHEN WOMEN WERE NOT EXPECTED TO BE IN THESE POSITIONS (AND I WAS THE FIRST). HOW YOU RECEIVED ME WAS HOW MY FELLOW CHEMICAL WORKERS WOULD TAKE THEIR CUES. I HAVE BEEN GRATEFUL FOR THE TRAINING AND ACCEPTANCE YOU GAVE ME EVER SINCE. THERE ARE SO MANY THOUGHTS OF YOU SO VERY OFTEN AS I HAVE BEEN BEGINNING A NEW PHASE OF MY LIFE- . SO SORRY TO SEE YOU LEAVE THIS EARTH, BUT YOU MADE YOUR UNFORGETTABLE MARK ON SO MANY OF US THANK YOU FOR THE LIFE LESONS. RIDING THAT JET STREAM.
