Rhoda Perilli

April 13, 1935 - April 4, 2021

Rhoda Marie Perilli, “Ginger”, born April 13, 1935, left this world to be with our Lord on the most
beautiful and holiest day, Easter Sunday, April 4th, 2021, in Oceanside, CA.
Ginger was a lifelong proud resident of Wheeling. She was a devoted wife, a homemaker, an exceptional
loving cherished Mother as her family always remained paramount throughout her life. She loved life
and was grateful for everything she was given by God, including her faith as a Catholic. She was a
member of the Blessed Trinity Parish and later St. Alphonsus. She cherished her years and felt blessed by
the kindness of living near beautiful neighbors and friends as they watched over her and her husband
when her children could not be nearby.
Ginger was preceded in death by her husband, Silvio “Joe” Perilli in December 2016. She is survived by
her three children, Victor T. Perilli, of Independence, MO; Diana E. Gavin, of Oceanside, CA, Paula J.
Perilli, of Virginia Beach, VA; four grandchildren: EricJohn Gavin, of Miami, FL, Shannon E. Gavin of
Oceanside, CA, Antonio and Hannah G. Perilli of Independence, MO; and a dearly beloved sister, Grace
Bisbing of Wyandotte, MI.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lebanon Church, Maronite Catholic Rite, 2216 Eoff Street, Wheeling with Monsignor Bakhos Chidiac as celebrant.

“The staff and facilities at the Altmeyer Funeral Home are second to none.  This was by far the most superior service that I ever experienced at a funeral home. Thank you for all that you did for our family.”
