RITA MORGAN
Rita M. (Null) Morgan, 86, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling.
She was born September 5, 1929 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Thomas Russell “Dick” Null and Sue (Kelley) Null.
Mrs. Morgan was a, member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, member of the Christian Mothers, Wheeling Hospital Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary (Carroll Council # 504) and Mt. St. Josephs Auxiliary.
Rita had a very strong commitment to both God and her faith. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed playing cards.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Jacqueline Carenbauer; sister, Mary Jane Hardy; and son-in-law, Ron Kaminski.
Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Robert T. “Bob” Morgan of Wheeling; three daughters, Susan M. (James) Mortakis, Mary Rita McCormick (Dan Butts) and Lynn M. Kaminski, all of Wheeling; sister, Suzanne Walter of Wheeling; seven grandchildren, Jule (Andy) Kunselman, Erin (Brendan) Ball, Morgan (Jenna) McCormick, Jamie and Kelley Mortakis, and Brooke and Shay Kaminski; five great- grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Carl Carenbauer.
Friends will be received Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling from 3-7 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling, at 10 a.m., with Msgr. Paul Hudock serving as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
