Robert Lee “Bob” Davis, 87, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Moundview Health Care.
He was born November 6, 1932, a son of the late Vernon and Florence (Williams) Davis Sr. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He retired from Ormet after over 40 years of service and was a member of the American Legion Post #3. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a skilled craftsman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Mae Davis and Wanda Davis Van Orman and two brothers, Carl Davis and Lawrence Daivs.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, of 56 years, Joyce (Klima) Davis; one son, Gregory (Julie) Davis of Clover, SC; one grandson, Logan Davis of Clover, SC; one granddaughter, Chelsea Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, Vernon (Edna) Davis Jr.; one sister, Lyda (John) Davis Cox of Wheeling, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Moundview Health Care for all of their love and support over the years and to the Glen Dale Volunteer Fire Department for all of the help they have given to the family.
