Ronald Allison Conner Sr. 80, of Glen Easton, WV., passed away Sunday, November, 8, 2020 in Cameron Nursing Home.
He was born April 16, 1940 in Moundsville, WV., the son of the late Wilbert and Sylvia (Litman) Conner.
Ron was a retired coal miner for Kirby Coal and a member of the United Mine Workers Association.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Louise Ann Shuman Conner in 2019; a son Ronald A. Conner II.
Surviving are two daughters Starlene Starling of Westerville, OH. and Michelle Cottrell (Kevin) of Cameron; a sister Daunel Gump (Duane) of Moundsville; two brothers Harry Conner (Cora) of Chicago and Keith Conner (Helen) of Moundsville; eight grandchildren Kyle Chambers, Rebecca Keener, Michael Chambers, Tyler Starling, Ronald Conner III, Kyle Conner, Jarrett Gump and Kaden Gump; four great-grandchildren
Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 11 am – 1 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, Moundsville. Services will be at 1 pm with Pastor Mike Eskridge officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Moundsville.
