Ross Lee "Rosco" Hill

April 16, 1936 - May 22, 2018

Ross “Rosco” L. Hill, 82, formerly of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born April 16, 1936, in Marshall County, WV, son of the late Ambrose and Grace (Gardner) Hill.
Ross was a retired foreman at Ormet, a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Benwood Lions Club and Knights of Columbus, and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Phyllis Hill; brothers, Richard and Andy Hill; and sister, Eva Jane Gonzales.
He is survived by his three children, David Hill of Moundsville, Kelly (Joe) Montes of Pickerington, OH, and Shelly (Lou) Thomas of Coral Springs, FL; and four grandchildren, Christina Hill, Cory Thomas and Bryce and Zach Montes
Some of his other family members included two sisters, Kathryn Horvath and Alice Hill; and a brother, William Kelly Hill.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, May 25, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Douglas Ondeck officiating.
Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, where military graveside rites will be held.
