Ruth Priscilla (Pitts) McGriff died on Sunday, September 22 at home.

She was born January 14, 1946 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Herbert and Easter Pitts.

Ruth worked in the fingerprint dept. for the FBI in Washington D.C.; retired for YSS after 20 years of service and was a member of Shiloh Temple in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Jody McGriff and a brother Donald L. Pitts.

Surviving are her sisters, Barbara Wallace, Betty A. Pitts, Rosemary Pitts and Constance I. Pitts, her brothers Ronald (Nellie), Paul (Paula), Russell (Christine) and John Herbert (Lomita)

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday September 28, 2019 at Shiloh Temple, 100 North 1st Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio, 43935 from 12pm until time of her service at 1pm. with Elder Tyron Spencer officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
