Sherri Ann (Catlett) Matheny, 51, of McMechen, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale WV.
Sherri was born June 11, 1969 in Glen Dale, daughter of the late Paul Catlett and Susan (Conner) Catlett of Moundsville, WV.
Sherri was a Christian by faith and a homemaker. She loved nothing better than to spend her time with her family and friends, especially her two grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Sherri is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Michael Matheny of McMechen; son, Michael (Samantha) Matheny II of Marietta, Ohio; two grandchildren, Michael Matheny III and Sophia Matheny; two sisters, Carla Catlett of Moundsville and Becky (Michael) Anderson of Lykens, PA; paternal grandmother, Madeline Catlett; niece, Fayth Anderson, three nephews, Dallas Catlett and Mark Miller and Justin Miller; mother-in-law, Darla Matheny and sister-in-law, Mindy (Frank) Pavilonis.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 2pm until time of service at 6pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, WV with Sarah Barickman serving as Life Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice at 10686 OH-150, Rayland, OH 43943.
