Teresa Lynne Lee, age 59 of Wheeling, West Virginia, died Saturday, August 8th, 2020, at the home of her daughter. During her transition, she was comforted by holding the hands of her two eldest grandchildren.
Teresa was born in Bellaire, Ohio, on January 2, 1961, to the late Robert and Lucille (Hagood) Lee. She was a graduate of Wheeling Park High School, a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, as well as the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 89.
Community grounded, she displayed her love for children daily with her actions, good deeds, and many charitable contributions. Simply put, if you were in need and she had it to give, then it was yours! She loved each member of her family and her grandchildren were certainly the ‘apple of her eyes’.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Victoria Mosby, Patricia King-Saunders, Constance Bell, Rosetta Gordon, Paula Dennard, Betty Ann Jenkins, Robin Howard, Donna Lee, and her brother James Lee.
She is survived by her daughter KeTara Lee, son Keshawn Creighton, and bonus son Lorenzo Clark Sr., grandson Keondre’ King, granddaughters KeAsia King, Keagan and Keara Creighton, and bonus granddaughter Jaylynn McCardle.
Her surviving siblings are Ella, Pamela, Norman, Paul, Victor Lee, and Roberta Hunter all of Wheeling, West Virginia, Mark, Tonya Lee and Terrie (Eli) Rivera all of Tacoma, Washington, George (Vivian) Lee of Kingsland, Georgia and Rosetta Pyles of Ashtabula, Ohio, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends, Friday, August 14th, from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm and Saturday, August 15th, from 10am until time of services at 11 am, with Pastor Marshall Davis officiating, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff St. Internment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1685 National Road, Wheeling, WV.
