Terry Lee Porter Sr., 63, of Wheeling, died Saturday, September 5, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born January 29, 1957 in Wheeling, the son of Dorothy Richmond Scott of Wheeling and the late Mick Porter.
Terry was a long tail operator for Cabela’s Distribution Center at the Highlands.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Gwen Ellen Riser Porter; three children Terry Lee “TJ” Porter Jr., Stephanie Porter and Noah Porter all of Wheeling; a sister Melissa Scott of Moundsville; a brother Robert Scott (Tracy) of Wheeling; a granddaughter Lillian Collins of Wheeling; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday September 10, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 6-7:30 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling. Vigil service will follow visitation with Deacon Thom Trunzo officiating. Interment will be at a later date and time at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
