Thomas Hughes Felton, 67, died suddenly on June 19, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife of 41 years Amy, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ross and Virginia Lee Felton.
Tom was an employee of Wheeling Hospital for over 30 years and always took time to say hello to every patient he met. He was a helpful, kind man who was always ready to lend a hand, give a ride or go to the store for anyone.
He will be missed by his wife, Amy Fulton Felton and five siblings; Deborah A. Michaels (Anne Haning) of St. Clairsville, OH, Anne (Tim) Gompers, of Wheeling, Jack (Rhonda) Felton of Wheeling, Pat (Debbie) Felton of Wheeling, Michael (Heidi) Felton of Cincinnati, OH, brother in law, James (Leanne) Fulton of St. Clairsville, sister in laws, Barbara (Thomas) McKeen of Bridgeport, OH, Nancy (Robert) Powell, of Shadyside, OH, step mother Patricia Felton of Wheeling, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews, and his church family in which he spent a great deal of time.
Friends will be received at the Prayer Hill Church of God, 51-36th St., Wheeling on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 9:00am until time of services at 11:00am with Pastor Michael Ream officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
Memorial contributions may be made to the YWCA, 1100 Chapline St., Wheeling, WV 26003.

So sorry to hear of Tom passing. I worked with Tom for many years at Wheeling Hospital and afterwards saw him frequently for breakfast at Hardee’s. He was always ready with a quick smile and kind word. Wishing your family peace and wonderful memories.
