Thomas Louis Griffith, 80, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 Wheeling Hospital.

He was born July 16, 1940, a son of the late James A. and Anna G. (Flaherty) Griffith. Thomas was a devout Catholic and member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was an avid music fan and will be remembered for his artistic abilities and talents.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, James C. Griffith.

Thomas is survived by his three children, Tracey (William) Kuhn of Hopedale, OH, Thomas P. Griffith of Raleigh, NC and Charles A. (Sarah) Griffith of West Alexander, PA; three siblings, Paula Hersey, Samuel P. Griffith and Jeffery A. Griffith; seven grandchildren, Danielle Crowe, Evan Griffith, Reghan Hayes, Aidan Griffith, Christina Griffith, Jennifer White and BJ (Sarah) Kuhn; three great-grandchildren, Ethan and Skylar White and Liam Kuhn and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 3-7 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 1400 Eoff St., with a 6:30 pm vigil service. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, November 12, at 10 am, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
