Coleman, Wilbert “Harold”, 90, of Wheeling, died Monday, May 18, 2020 at Forest Hill Care Center, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

He was born June 23, 1929 in Wheeling, the son of the late William and Elizabeth Sprucebank Coleman.

Harold was a retired laborer for Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel; a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Beltz Coleman; a son Michael Coleman; three sisters, Odette Armstrong, Dorothy St. Meyer and Nellie Owings; four brothers Richard, William, Robert and Ed Coleman

Surviving are his two children, Lynn Courts (Rick) of Wheeling, and Daniel Coleman (Pamela) of Wheeling; a sister Alice Gilson of Wheeling ; daughter-in-law Andrea Coleman of Willow Spring, NC.; five grandchildren, Rusty Coleman , Andrew Wall, Stephanie Courts (Mason Hamilton), Bryan Courts and Danielle Coleman.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday May 21, 2020 from 4-7 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling. Services will be held on Friday May 22, 2020 at 10 am  with Rev. Martin Smay officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.

Vigil Service will be on Thursday at 7 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to Home for Men, 1700 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, WV., 26003
