Wilma Josephine Thomann, 93, of Wheeling, died Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born April 12, 1926 in Triadelphia, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Reinart Thomann.
Wilma was retired from the Kroger Co., was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Altar Society of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and was a graduate of Triadelphia High School.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Cecil, Arthur and William Thomann, and 3 sisters; Helen Thomann, Emma Grimes and Evelyn Jasenas.
Wilma is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Sharon Russell, Paul Grimes, Terry Dobrzynski and Charles Grimes, and several great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove where a vigil service will be held at 7:30pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 10 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Msgr. Paul Hudock as celebrant.
Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Chapel Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2244 Marshall Ave., Wheeling, WV.
