Mike was a fine gentleman. Always willing to go the extra mile at Kroger to help a customer. Mike was a member of a fine family. Mike, along with brothers Ed and Matt were top of the line.

Great friend and neighbor. Always knew I could count on Mike. Always had such a great time together when we would go over and visit. Will be truly missed!

Ed/Mary Jean and Family, All of you are in my prayers as we reflect on the loss of Mike. I am so glad that I stopped in on him during his last days with Krogers. He told me how much he was looking forward to playing lots of golf. I'll always remember the competitor he was on our St.Francis Xavier basketball and football teams. Those were great times and occupy a special place in my memory and heart. God bless all of you and I will remember Mike and you all at Mass and Communion tomorrow. Regards, Bob 9329 Grandview Drive Denton, Texas 76207 409-466-0709

Michael and I grew up in the same end of town. My parents was Webster and Amelia Brown. We lived between the river and railroad tracks. I remember him as a nice person. Would see him while shopping at Krogers. Always enjoyed talking to him. He is now in the loving arms of his Lord.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I'm reaching out with some encouragement as I too have lost many loved ones in death. One thing that has helped me to cope many times is a promise made by in the Bible at Acts 24:15. Here it says that we can have a “hope toward God” for He promises that “there is going to be a resurrection.” What a comfort to have “a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago.” (Titus 1:2) Another comforting Scripture, one of my personal favorites, is Psalms 37:29. It speaks of world conditions under God’s Kingdom rule. It says: “The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.” A most reassuring promise indeed! I hope these verses comfort you like they have comforted me. My heart and prayers go out to you. Below is a link to a very encouraging Bible-based brochure entitled, When Someone You Love Dies. Please use your personal Bible with this brochure as you read it in the months ahead. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/when-someone-dies/ Deepest Sympathies, Izzy

To Michelle, you are your Dad's joy, no doubt ever, he adored and loved you. I am so sorry for the loss of your father. He reminded me of an old fashioned cowboy, he had the good looks and that swagger thing going on. My memories of him were mostly when we were young and he always called me squirt and tormented me as only a cousin could. God Speed Mike❤️ To JoAnn, Ed and Matt, I'm sorry too for your loss of your brother, he was ornery for sure, a Dugas trait that should be embraced. RIP Mike you were a great guy that people enjoyed knowing. My sincerest sympathy, Joette Zeigler.
