I loved working with Von the past several years on the yearbook. She was such a joy to work with and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and her students.

Von was one of the most genuinely sweet and kind-hearted people that I know. I worked with her at OLP for many years. Hugs and prayers for her family and friends. Fly high, Von. You will be missed.

I remember being her "mother's helper" when I was younger, and I'm holding close all the memories I have of spending time with her and helping with the kids--so much of what I know about being a mother I learned from her. My heart breaks for those she has left behind, and my thoughts and prayers are with them.

We will always remember Von's kindness. One example of this is when she cared for our daughter Anna for several days while we were attending a conference. During this time, she created a homemade book with photos she took of our daughter which became one of her favorite books. We will miss her and send our love and prayers to Brian, Brigid, Sean, Megan and the family at this sad time.

I knew Von through my close friend Marybeth Garvin Pollack. I would only see Von occasionally, but every time I did, I went away feeling wonderful! Von just radiated happiness! I am so sorry for your loss, for the school's loss, and for ours. My prayers are with you and your family.

I cannot express how much Von has meant to me. We shared 28 years of laughter and tears. She was a best true friend. I will always hold in my heart and prayers.
