I have so many great memories of Senor Harsan! He was a wonderful and caring teacher. The Mexico trip was the perfect ending to our years at SHS. My Mom was one of the chaperones and it is a cherished memory for both of us. May his memory be a blessing.

Senor was a not be forgotten teacher at Shadyside High School.I had him for Junior High Art and Spanish, as well as, Spanish in Senior High. My best memory was the annual senior trip to Mexico. I later had the pleasure of working with him as my wedding planner. Vaya con Dios Senor!

Senor was a wonderful teacher at Shadyside High School. I had him for Art and Spanish during Jr.High, but my best memories were Spanish class in high school and the senior trip to Mexico. I too had the opportunity to work with him as my wedding planner. Vaya con Dios, Senor, you have left us with lasting memories.

Jolene and loved ones of Jack, I appreciated having Mr. Harson as my teacher and then as I was getting married I was a thrilled to work with him on a new level as wedding planner and florist. His talent and creativity were deep and his passion and excitement were contagious. With gratitude and sympathy...

So sorry to learn about the loss of Señor Harsan. He was one of my favorite teachers. The way he would look disapprovingly over the top of his glasses while pulling his beard when we would misbehave is an image that will always stick with me. Rest in peace, Señor.

Rest In Peace Señor Harsan. You will be missed. I was in the high school recently and passed by the Spanish class room - brought back memories of your Spanish class and the great trip to Mexico.

So sorry for your loss. He was a dedicated and talented teacher and I'm thankful to have known him.

He was a kind and brave man who traipsed through the jungle at night to retrieve a poor girl's glasses. I will always remember how dark it was and how he pretended not to be scared so I wouldn't be scared. RIP, Señor Harsan.
