Condolences for Angelo Joseph Jafrate

Dear Family, Coming back to visit West Virginia will hold many memories of being together with the family, of just being, on the back porch sitting with each other looking out at the beautiful hills and the green trees from Teresa and Angelo's home. Seems Angelo did a lot of dreaming and remembering from that porch and we can picture him yet. Just as we miss Teresa, we will miss Angelo. He was an extraordinary man and a fine teller of stories. He was so proud of each member of his family. God speed dear Angelo to the arms of our Lord. We will always love you, Henry and Mardena Skvarka

My condolences to the family. When loosing a loved one it can be unbearable. That is why God has provided scriptures in the Bible to help ones cope with the loss. In the Bible book of Isaiah 25:8 Jehovah God promises soon to "swallow up death forever." He also promises to bring back those who have fallen asleep in death (Acts 24:15). In a little while longer this kind of pain will be a thing of the past (Revelations 21:4). May these scriptures bring you comfort in this difficult time (

Our sympathies to all of the family on your loss. Many summer days were spent in his backyard, and many nights in his basement with Adam and Corey. Mr. and Mrs. Jafrate were wonderful people. Take comfort in they are looking down and smiling upon the family and will continue to watch over you all.

Wow Just read the obit of this WWII hero and wonderful Benwood citizen. I was drawn to name Angelo because that is my dad, brother, and grandson name, but as I read of his heroics I was even more drawn into his story. A great Italian-American Sad to lose another of our Greatest Generation God bless you all.
