I grew up with Mike and he always had a BIG smile on his face and commanded the room! He was always talkative, nice and a good friend and loved his family! And as we adults I saw how great of a father he was and how much he loved them! He will be DEARLY MISSED and we are praying for your family and for God to send you ALL the comfort and LOVE you need to get through this difficult time. God Bless and love you all!

Our friendship started almost 10 years ago through our boys love of basketball and we instantly connected. Mike, Tonya and their kids treated me and my son like family from the start. He encouraged and mentored my kid, as if he were his own. I'm forever thankful for that bond and the memories! One of the most infectious, rotten smiles I've ever seen. Rest easy my friend! We got Tonya and the kids. Until we meet again...love and prayers!

Michael was very special to me. He always smiled at me at St Mike’s as I was returning from Communion. That adorable infectious smile touched my heart. He and my daughter, CORI, and their many friends had such fun !?!? times together. Micheal shared a written story he wrote about his early life with me which meant the world to me; he and I Always connected, just with a glance. I love you Michael. Your family and friends are very blessed to have had you in this life. AND what an angel to have in your heavenly life looking upon all. You are loved and missed. I love you. Sheri

I met mike formally when I became their wedding photographer. I knew Tanya his wife longer during my teen years! That’s my earliest memory of him that stands out the most ! His smile was the first thing anyone would notice, especially a photographer! I would have to say I was super excited to photograph such a good looking couple but what really caught my eye was the obvious fight he had in him for his family! I’m sure that fight continued even to his last breath! He was a proud father of his baby girls and his talented son! The love and passion i witnessed in his eyes for his wife could never be replicated! Perfection was never needed because true love was always there ! My heart is broken at the thought of such a loss, words can’t describe. We send our condolences, prayers and support to this wonderful family.
