Tom and Family My heart goes out to you at this time. Your Mom was one of those special people who meant so much to so many in so many different ways. She was there for for whomever needed that extra shoulder to listen ... Yes, You were the apple of her eye ... and her special one but she found space in that big heart for many. She will always be remembered by those she nurtured! I'm sure her next journey will be filled with many more happy times!

Little Tom ,Jay and Tom sorry for your loss. She was nothing but sweet to a bunch of "rowdies" and cooked everything with love. We just lost an Era when we lost her. God Bless

I first met Fumiko when she would stop in the Plaza for dinner. She would place her order, then head up to Hallmark to get the newest beanie babies. She was always kind to everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who knew and loved her. She will be missed!

Tom, Your mom was a true lady in every sense of the word. She was always so kind, and sincerely interested in the lives of so many. I remember talking with Fumiko while she was recuperating from some health problems at Mound View. She came to hear us on Gospel Night and I sat with her another night when The Elson's performed there. What a wonderful Lady. My heart goes out to all who new and loved her.

Very sorry to learn of Fumiko's passing. Surely she is in Tom's arms now. The Warsaw will go on in my memories, as will Tommy and Fumiko who made the Warsaw the legend that it is today and forever more. Last call has been made and you both can rest now.

When I was a toddler, maybe 3 or 4 years old, I would come up to the Warsaw and get a grilled cheese and a pepsi and then go back to my Grandma's house located on 4th street. Missy would always walk me back after I got done eating to make sure I got back ok. I did this my entire childhood. I have known Fumiko and Tom my entire life and it is sad to see her gone now. She was a wonderful woman and she will be greatly missed by myself and everyone who knew her.
