Dear Sylvia, Marybeth, Rachel, my love and prayers! I am deeply saddened by Paul's death, but grateful for the life he shared so generously with us. If a person's life is measured by what they left behind to grow, then Paul's life is a most eloquent testimony to Life. I am now retired and living overseas, so I send much love across the ocean waves which I hope will carry such a little gift to the shores of your hearts. Peace!

Paul was one of the kindest people I know and my heart goes out to Sylvia, Mary Beth, Rachel, Matt, Liam, Seamus and Malcolm for this great loss in your lives. Without exception, whenever our families were together, there was lively conversation sprinkled amply with great laughter. Paul had the most marvelous, wickedly funny sense of humor. My hope is you all will hear its echo in your hearts and carry its warmth with you always. You are in my thoughts and prayers. “…and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.”
