I’ve been employed at Neely’s Grocery for 42 years, and I’ll just say, we’ve Never waited on an easier customer than Ray. Weighing his lunch meat, if it was over, he’d always say, Leave It on there, somebody will eat it!!!! Such a Kind Thoughtful Friend. We will All Miss you Ray!!!!❤️❤️

Ray was such a wonderful person. He was a blessing to wait on at Neely's. He was always asked about my daughter and loved talking about his new grandchildren. I'm grateful to have known him. We will all miss him here at the store.

I was saddened to read of Ray's passing. Whenever, he was @ Rick & Diane's you could count on a friendly smile, kindness & a laugh or two. It was always a pleasure to see & talk to him. Although I didn't know of the great things he accomplished, he was just one of those people you could tell was a great guy! Too young to be gone. Very sorry to hear about Mr. Bauer. I appreciate all he did for the local Teamsters during his time in office. Along with his dedication to youth baseball in this area ,Ray made this small part of the world a better place then when he got here, which should always be everyone's goal. As a union guy, Ray knew the only thing we OWN is life is time, he seemed to have made the most of his during his "brief" time here. My thoughts go out to all of his family and friends
