Dear Shepard Family, It is wit great sadness that I write this condolence message. Jimmy was always full of joy with life. We spoke often of the simple things like hunting. He had such passion for even little things. I know that passion extended to his family and friends. If he had that much joy in the things of this life, imagine what he is feeling in his eternal reward! He is sorely missed, but he will never truly be gone from our hearts and minds. Thank God that we had him in our lives. You all are in our prayers during this difficult time. I stopped to see him in the hospital for just a few minutes, and was privileged to pray with him, Nancy and Annie and a few others there. We prayed for peace, healing, and comfort. I know God answered those prayers and will continue to bless his family and friends.

Dear Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was such a good, decent man. So talented in his trade, so much more than a handy man. He was gifted. He loved and so proud of his children. And he loved you, Nancy. You were a wonderful wife. My heart hurts for you all. I've known Jim for almost 30 years. We worked together at the Hampton. It was my privilege to know him. I will be praying God will give you strength and peace inside, Nancy. Love you friend. Kathy Gadd (in Florida)
